Use this band when an existing centrifugal compressor is being swapped. A new-site package still needs the same envelope, utility, and operator checks, but the existing header is no longer the constraint.
Volumetric flow quoted in m³/min or cfm is meaningless until the bidder states the inlet temperature, inlet pressure, and gas molecular weight used for that figure. Nominal power in kW or hp must sit next to the same duty, not a family range endpoint.
Ask every bidder to keep inlet conditions, discharge pressure, and measured package power on one comparison row so a replacement does not inherit an unmatched duty.
Compressor, driver, coupling, lube or dry-gas seal support if offered, local panel, and the skid as drawn. Working pressure and flow rate stay paired with inlet conditions.
Packing, inland haul, export crate, destination Incoterms, and insurance. Transit vibration limits and preservation of the rotor should be named, not assumed.
Foundations, cooling-water piping, three-phase supply, compressed air demand for instruments, installation, training, and spare parts. These lines often sit outside the machine price.
Every flow figure must cite inlet temperature, inlet pressure, and gas. Comparing one bidder’s cfm at a sea-level inlet with another bidder’s m³/min at a hot, high-altitude inlet is not a like-for-like review. Ask for the same duty cycle: minimum, normal, and peak plant demand.
